Boakai, on Thursday, January 18, 2024, First Lady Clar Marie Weah, who is leaving office, hosted the meeting at the Executive Mansion. The two First Ladies had a historic meeting to discuss Liberia’s future, which marked a smooth transition of political power four days before Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai takes office as the country’s next president.
As the future First Lady of Liberia, Mrs. Boakai expressed her appreciation to Mrs. Weah for all of her accomplishments while she was in office.
