    LNP FORWARDED Man 21 AND OTHERS TO COURT FOR ALLEGED GANG RAPE.

    The Woman and Children Protection Section of the Liberia National Police has arrested investigated and duly changed suspects Obeto Saye 21years, Bob C. Tweh, and Varney Fatorma of the Gaye Town Old Road, for alleged GANG RAPE.

    On March 2, 2022, the suspects were arrested based on a complaint filed by Linda Carter who alleged that her daughter was sexually abused.

    During a police preliminary probe with the victim, she narrated that suspect Obeto Saye threaten her and witness Teddy S. Toe with scissors and carried her to his house, at which time Bob C. Tweh and Varney Fatorma sexually abused her.

    She further narrated that Bob C. Tweh put his trouser in her mouth preventing her voice not to being heard, while Varney Fatorma held her legs.

    Based on the fact and circumstances gathered couple with the admittance of suspect Obeto Saye that he had sex with the victim, the investigators have resolved to charge Suspects Obeto Saye, Bob C. Tweh, and Varney Fatorma with the crime GANG RAPE in violation of chapter 14 subchapter D section 14.70 (2) of the revised Rape Law and forwarded to court for prosecution.
