Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia National Police (LNP) officer Samuel T. Varney has been honored for his outstanding service on a United Nations peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.
Officer Varney, was awarded in appreciation of his commitment to peacekeeping efforts in the Republic of South Sudan.
“Today, I was honored during a Medal Pinning Ceremony at my Field Office in Bentiu, Unity State, for providing peacekeeping service to the people and Republic of South Sudan,” Varney expressed gratitude.
Officer Varney extended thanks to the leadership of the Liberia National Police, particularly Inspector General Gregory Coleman and his immediate supervisor, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Cecelia G. Clarke.
He also recognized the Press and Public Affairs Division of the LNP for their continuous support.
Varney went on to appreciate several individuals who had supported his journey, including former police spokesperson Moses Carter and Alfred Erich Thate, among others. Officer Varney is an astute and dedicated police officer with several years of experience in his work ethic, especially in the area of communication.
