Monrovia, Liberia – The Lofa County Sports Steering Committee is accepting applications from eligible football coaches as the 2023/2024 National County Sports Meet approaches. Papie Sumo, the technical director for Lofa County, states that they require a head coach, deputy coach, assistant coach, and trainer.
The present coach, Samuel Sumo, who led the County to its first championship two years ago, will be removed after the applications are approved. In the previous tournament, Lofa County lost to Nimba County in the finals. There are rumours that the County will make an announcement on the kickball team application process.

To end a long wait for a title, the County has won two under current coach Ezekiel Sunny Doekpa. Although the public has not received a clear message from the technical department regarding the coaches’ status, the announcement of fresh applicants comes as a huge surprise.
Lofa County has been paired in group with Nimba and Grand Bassa in a group of three. Meanwhile, Rivergee County will serve as the official host of the 2023/2024 edition.
