After breaking ground for the construction of new headquarters for the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission, the LRRRC has embarked on another project for Refugees who are expected to return to the country this year.
The Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission has finally secured a site for Refugees returning from Buduburam camp in Ghana while calling on Liberians to support the process.
According to the Executive director of LRRRC Ferster Logan, this project is not for LRRRC but is a Liberia project as such Liberians need to come together in order to rescue other Liberians from the Refugee camp in Ghana.
Speaking to a team of reporters, Mr. Logan said the LRRRC will begin to ask people for support in order to help some of the returnees. He at the same time said some of the returnees are in very bad condition so it is about time for Liberians to put their differences aside.
Meanwhile, LRRRC Executive Director said returnees are expected to spend one week at the site and one thousand six hundred (1,600) Refugees are expected to return to the country soon.
