Monrovia, Liberia – Natus Jamel Swen has finalized his transfer from Shaita FC, a Liberian first division club, to Sheriff FC, a Moldova Top Flight Club, in Europe.
Natus has previously won many caps with Liberia’s senior national side, the Lone Star, in both World Cup and AFCON qualifying events.
He played for Watanga FC, which won the 2023–2024 LFA First Division. He was also nominated for the Best Defender Award, but Eugene Swen of Paynesville FC defeated him.
The young man was introduced to Liberian football through Massa Football Academy, a grassroots organization run and controlled by his mother, Massa Dukuly, and situated in Montserrado.
Based on his steady play, Natus is considered to be among the most promising players of the present generation, someone Liberia may rely on.
Many Liberian football fans instantly began celebrating him when he announced his transfer on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. His fans and football lovers encouraged him to maintain proper posture.
FC Sheriff Tiraspol, also known as Sheriff, is a football club based in Tiraspol, Moldova. The club was founded in 1996 as FC Tiras Tiraspol and became FC Sheriff in 1997.
Another former graduate of Massa Football Academy, Devine Teah is now in Czech Republic with Slavia Prague following his moved from Sweden’s Hammarby FC for 3.5 million Europe. Devine has already caught the eyes of many Liberians based on his brilliant pass accuracy and fast movement with ball.
