Matadi tested positive for COVID-19, withdraw from team Liberia

Emmanuel Matadi has pullout of team Liberia for the upcoming World Athletics Indoor Championship in Belgrade, Serbia.

Matadi was one of three qualified Liberian Athletes to represent the country in the competition, but a credible report reaching Reports231 says, he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 18th edition of the World Athletics Indoor Championship is scheduled to be held from the 18th to the 20th of March 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia.

This year’s edition will witness 680 Athletes from 137 Countries competing for medals in every event.

Team Liberia is now left with Ebony Morrison and Wellington Zaza who will both compete in male and females 60 meters hurdles.
