MFDP Discloses Temporary Delay In Salary Payments Due To System Upgrade

Monrovia, Liberia – The Office of the Comptroller and Accountant General (CAG) informs all employees of the Government of Liberia that processing of payment of salaries for October is ongoing, but payment will last up to the 1st week in November.

According to a Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) release, this temporary delay is due to ongoing technical upgrades and maintenance work being carried out at the Ministry’s central data center.

These system enhancements are part of the MFDP’s broader efforts to modernize its financial management systems and improve data security in salary processing and related financial transactions.

The Ministry apologizes to all government workers and civil servants for any inconvenience that these delays may have caused.

The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning maintains a solid track record of paying government salaries on schedule, and it is still steadfastly dedicated to maintaining this standard, the institution noted.

As these significant changes are being finalized, the Ministry noted that it values the understanding and patience of all government workers.
