Minister of Labour Awards Vacation Jobs to 26 Disabled Liberians.

Monrovia, Liberia – In an effort to promote an inclusion and empower citizens, the Minister of Labour, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah, Sr., has awarded vacation jobs to 26 individuals living with disabilities to be assigned at various departments within the Ministry of Labour.

This initiative as part of the ministry empowerment drive, has provided temporary work opportunities for the disabled community, allowing them to earn income, gain experience, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Minister Kruah emphasized that empowering all citizens, regardless of physical ability, is vital to the ARREST Agenda of the Boakai-Koung administration, adding that this effort will not only uplifts the beneficiaries and their families but also reflects the government’s commitment to equal opportunity for all.

The beneficiaries in response expressed gratitude, stating that the opportunity will restores their dignity and gives them a chance to serve. The Ministry hopes to expand the program in the coming months across other agencies.
