MRU congratulate Liberia on 178th independence day celebration.

Monrovia, Liberia – Ahead of Liberia 178th Independence day celebration, the Office of the Secretary General of the Manor River Union has extend its heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Liberia. According to a statement released on Friday, July 25, 2025, Liberia’s efforts to regional security, economic integration, and peacebuilding within the MRU area have been essential to the success of its Member States with a common objective for prosperity, unity, and sustainable development.

Liberia, a founding member of the Mano River Union, never stops inspiring the region with its tenacity, rich culture, and unrelenting quest for progress. The MRU has reaffirmed its support for the Liberian people and looks forward to working with the government of Liberia to further regional alliances that benefit the Union’s inhabitants.
