Liberia National Team players who have been called to play the upcoming Afcon qualifier match with Morocco are said to be complaining about the low transportation allowance given to them by the national team management.
The aggrieved national team players who begged for anonymity said though they live faraway places across Montserrado County, they still received five United States dollars as transportation allowance like their other colleagues who reside in central Monrovia.
They claimed that they raised the issue with the LFA but their concern is yet to be addressed.
Meanwhile, when contacted the Communications Manager at the Liberia Football Association, Danesius Marteh confirmed that the players are receiving five United States dollars each as transportation allowance.
He said besides the 5USD transportation allowance, the players are also serve meals on a Daily basis after their regular practice session.
