NEC gets green light to conduct Lofa County By-Election

The national election commission has mandated the conduct of by-election in Lofa county in May of this year.
According to the chairperson Madam Davidetta Brown Lansanah, the nominations process of candidates for the May ten by-election in Lofa county ends April of 1st this year.
She at the same said the National Election Commission reserved notification from the Liberian senate informing the board of commissioners about a vacancy at the senate.
It can be recalled the Liberian senate declared Lofa county senatorial seat vacant on February Sixteen of this year.
Meanwhile, the National election commission has declared May 10, 2022, as Election Day in Lofa county.
