NEC To Host First Engagement with 2023 Aspirants

Monrovia, Liberia – The first meeting with candidates for the Liberian general elections of 2023 will take place on Friday, July 21, 2023, according to the National Election Commission. The one-day meeting with the 2023 candidates will be held at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, according to a NEC announcement on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

The statement claimed that Independent Aspirants would have the chance to attend the event and sign the historic Farmington River Declaration endorsing a peaceful 2023 General Elections.

According to the press release, political parties, coalitions, and alliances committed to a peaceful and non-violent general election in 2023 by signing the historic Farmington River Declaration on April 20, 2023.
