According to a release dated November 12, 2025, the grand launch is set for Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Blue Star High Tech Draw Room Facility at the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) in Paynesville.

The initiative marks a major stride toward modernizing the nation’s gaming sector, introducing systems rooted in transparency, fairness, and responsible play. Both institutions say the partnership underscores a shared vision to boost regulated public participation, improve accountability, and align Liberia’s lottery operations with global gaming standards.

“This venture is not only about gaming but also about empowerment, opportunity, and technology-driven growth for Liberians,” Sarpong emphasized.

For his part, Hon. Richlue O. Burphy, NLA’s Deputy Director General for Lotto Games, described the 5/90 Ball Lotto as a catalyst for national development, noting that the project will significantly strengthen the Authority’s capacity to raise revenue for social and community-driven programs.
