Over 130 Coaches apply for Lone Star Job

Monrovia, Liberia – Reports 231 independent investigation has uncovered that over 130 coaches have applied for Lone Star job. It can be recalled on January 3, 2024, the Liberia Football Association announced a vacancy for the job days after the dismissal of Ansuman Keita for sporting just cause.

Following the announcement, coaches around the world including Europe and Africa have expressed interest in the Lone Star. One of the notable names is the former national team player and coach Thomas Kojo.

The legendary Mohammed Kallon of Sierra Leone, former coach John Keister of Sierra Leone, and former Lone Star coach Antoine Hey have also expressed interest.

John Moses, a former player from the George Weah Eleven squad, submitted a second application. His initial attempt to manage the national squad of his country was unsuccessful.

Mourtarr Fofana, the coach of Nimba County, has also added himself to the list of applicants. Reports231 cannot also verify if Liberia’s Most Celebrated Soccer Star, James Salinsa Debbah applied for the job.
