Over 40, 000 Twelve Graders Commences WAEC Exam

Monrovia, Liberia – The West African Senior School Certificate Examinations has begun in Liberia. It is reported that over 40,000 Liberian students in the 12th grade from approximately 887 high schools nationwide are participating in the exam.

The culmination of the regional examinations, which began on May 16, 2023, is anticipated for all 12th graders across the nation will end on June 16, 2023. The West African Examinations Council’s Liberia Office, WAEC, is in charge of administering the test.

According to a survey from WAEC Liberia, significantly more women are enrolling in the 2022–2023 Exams than their male counterparts. According to data, most of the students taking the examinations are from Montserrado County and are female.
