Grand GedehIn order to obtain vital information on ongoing government projects and comprehend local development challenges, a delegation from the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU), led by Minister of State Without Portfolio Mamaka Bility, spent the weekend in Grand Gedeh County on an assessment mission.

The high-level team’s visit is a component of President Joseph N. Boakai’s drive to expedite the country’s major development projects. To verify that government initiatives remain on track, the PDU team spoke with project contractors, local leaders, and county officials during the visit.

Speaking to reporters after the inspection, the team leader emphasized that the government remains committed to improving healthcare delivery nationwide. The team leader stressed to reporters following the inspection that the government is still dedicated to enhancing healthcare services across the country.

“In order to correctly report back and assist in removing bottlenecks, we are visiting this place to see the development and the gaps personally. Under the ARREST agenda, the health sector is a crucial component, and we want to ensure that our people have access to high-quality treatments,” the team leader said.

The government’s involvement was welcomed by the locals, and many expressed the expectation that the visit would result in noticeable changes.

Zwedru resident Esther Nya stated, “We want to see these projects completed, especially our hospital and feeder roads.”

As the government steps up efforts to monitor and fulfill its development pledges, the PDU’s countrywide trips are anticipated to continue in the upcoming weeks.
