Pres. Weah approves updated rules governing Honorary Consuls

Monrovia Release-The Revised Regulations to govern the appointment, nature, and scope of the functions and conduct of the Republic of Liberia’s Honorary Consuls have been mandated by President George Manneh Weah to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The instruction from the Liberian Chief Executive takes into account the Ministry’s request to the President to approve the revised regulation to control the selection, nature, and extent of the functions and conduct of Honorary Consuls of the Republic of Liberia.

According to an Executive Mansion release on Monday, October 17, 2022, President Weah has since approved the request.
