Pres. Weah commends Kingdom of Spain on National Day Observance

Monrovia Release-President George Manneh Weah has expressed sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Felipe VI and, through him, to the Government and People of the Kingdom of Spain on the auspicious occasion marking the celebration of that great country’s National Day, also known as “La Fiesta National De Espana” on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia.

The Liberian President emphasized in his letter to His Majesty King Felipe VI that as the people of Spain commemorate this momentous occasion, he prays that the long-standing friendships between Liberia and Spain be further cemented for the benefit of their respective peoples.

President Weah expressed the expectation that their adherence to the rules-based international system will strengthen their close cooperation on international issues, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry. He concluded by expressing his wishes for His Majesty’s personal well-being, the continued peace and prosperity of Spain’s people, and the Royal family.
