Monrovia, Liberia – The President of Liberia, George Manneh Weah has issued a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Sierra Leone on the occasion of President Julius Maada Boi’s reelection.
In a statement issued by the foreign ministry, President George Manneh Weah expressed his sincere congratulations on the historic reelection of the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone on behalf of the Liberian government and the people.
The leader of Liberia expressed optimism that the people of the Republic of Sierra Leone will continue to experience the benefits of peace, unity, and prosperity under wise and forward-thinking leadership.
“We firmly believe that the excellent bilateral ties and bond of friendship and strategic cooperation subsisting between the two countries will be further strengthened for the common interest and prosperity of the two countries and peoples.”
According to the Liberian Leader, he prays that President Bio’s noble mission be carried out with greater wisdom and success.
The Sierra Leone Election yesterday Tuesday, June 27, 2023, announced the re-election of President Julius Maada Boi, with over one million votes amounting to a little over 56% of the total vote of the Sierra Leone 2023 presidential election.
