Pres. Weah Expresses Sympathy for Chief Momo Taylor’s Death

President George Manneh Weah has expressed sorrow over the demise of Chief Momo Taylor, the powerful paramount Chief of Lofa County and a relative of the illustrious Chief Tamba Taylor.

In his hometown of Foya and throughout Lofa County, the passing of Chief Momo Taylor a respected elder and statesman has been mourned with deep sorrow. The deceased Chief has been hailed by the Liberian Leader as a stalwart defender of the nation’s customs and history according to an Executive Mansion release.

Mr. Weah said Chief Taylor played a crucial role in preserving unity and peace among Lofa’s diverse ethnic and religious groups. “His passing is a huge loss not just for Lofa, but the entire nation”, the President said.

President Weah urged the bereaved family, as well as the sons and daughters of Lofa, to find comfort in the Lord.
