Pres. Weah pays 1,337 Graduates’ Fees

Liberia President George Manneh Weah has given over USD$400,000 to the United Methodist University (UMU) as the graduation fees for 1,337 graduating students of the university. Serving as the 18th Commencement Convocation speaker, President Weah congratulated the graduates and admonished them to continue, as education is the best way.

Speaking on the team, the journey in the wall, Mr. Weah encouraged the young graduates to prepare themselves for the challenges ahead. He at the same time admonished them to prepare themselves for the job market. Acknowledging UMU hard work, President Weah cautioned the university to keep its eyes on the graduates as they are ambassadors of the university and partners in progress for a new Liberia.

According to the Liberian Leader, respect and honor for leaders lead a professional long way to success. President Weah cautioned the graduates to be ready and prepared for every opportunity.
