Liberia Leader George Manneh Weah today started his unfinished 2021 county tour in Montserrado County starting with District #15, Logan Town. Mr. Weah and his officials were well received by citizens and sympathizers of the Weah-led government.

During a Town Hall meeting, the youth of District #15 called President Weah to build a new police station, and a youth center. They at the same time petition the Liberian Leader to issue an executive order to make sanitary pads duty-free and affordable for Liberian young women and women as a whole.

Thanking Mr. Waeh for the development in the country, the women of the district called on the Liberian Leader to help them with macro loans in order to boost their business instead of taking loans from the bank with high interest. They pleaded with their president to build a market structure within the district and create more empowerment for the youth and you g people of the district.

For his part, the Representative for District #15, Abu B. Kamara praised the Liberian Leader for the road construction in the district. He called on Mr. Weah to help construct a Town Hall and district Administrative center. Representative Kamara also pleaded with the president to establish and build a court including a library within the district instead of going to the next district to judge matters and use the district #16 library.

In response, President Weah promised to work with the people of District #15. He called on the citizens of that district and entire Liberia to stop the discrimination, and stand up and do things that will bring development to the country. Mr. Weah at the same time spoke against unlawful protest and bad behavior of some youth in the country, he called on them to desist from such habit as such is not good for development. President Weah promised to work with the Commerce Ministry to reduce taxes on sanitary pads and make them accessible to Liberian women. Noting that the health sector needs reform, the Liberian Leader promised to build a new JFK Hospital in Monrovia.
