The president of the Republic of Liberia, Joseph Nyuma Boakai, has congratulated Mr. Nangolo Mbumba on being elevated to the highest office as president of Namibia.
According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, President Boakai congratulated President Nangolo Mbumba on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, as well as in his own name.
The Liberian leader also assured his counterpart of his constant readiness to work with him towards maintaining and consolidating the excellent relations that exist between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
President Boakai then wished the Namibian leader every success in the discharge of his duties and prayed that the Grand Architect of the Universe would grant him wisdom and fortitude to lead the great people of Namibia to prosperity and happiness.
