President Boakai Extols Ghana on 67th Independence Day Observance

Monrovia, Liberia – A congratulations message has been extended by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. to President Nana Akufo-Addo of the Republic of Ghana on the occasion of Ghana’s 67th anniversary of independence.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, and in his own name conveyed warmest felicitations to the Government and People of the Republic of Ghana as they celebrate this milestone.

The president of Liberia expressed his hope that the friendly relations of friendship and collaboration that already exist between the two nations and peoples will be further enhanced in the spirit of African unity as the people of Ghana commemorate this historic day.

“I look forward to continue collaboration, as we work together in furtherance of the principles of the African Union, the United Nations, and the Economic Community of West African States for the promotion of regional and international peace and security.”
