President Boakai makes major Appoints in Government

Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has made major appointments to positions in government, including the Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Advisor to the President on National Security, Inspector General of the Liberia National Police, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Commerce, and Industry, Education, the Liberia Revenue Authority, the National Drug Enforcement Agency, Health, and Presidential Press Secretary.

Boima S. Kamara, Minister of Finance

Sylvester M. Griffin, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs

Former Public Works and Labor Minister Samuel Kofi Woods appointed as Advisor to the President on National Security

Col. Gregory Coleman as Inspector General of the Liberia National Police designate.

Madam Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Dr. J. Alexander Nuetah, Minister of Agriculture

Mr. Amin Modad, Minister of Commerce & Industry

The nominations made late Wednesday and Thursday are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
