    RELEASE

    Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has nominated and appointed additional members of Government affecting the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs (MOS), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the National Commission on Arms (NCA), the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC), and the Maryland Vocational Training Institute (MVTI).

    The institutions and those nominated and appointed are:

    I. Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs (MOS)

    1. Mrs. Oretha Juah Bestman-Yates, Assistant Minister for Human Resources

    2. Mrs. Louise Tamba, Special Assistant to the President

    3. Mrs. Ora Richards, Ambassador At-Large (Reappointed)

    4. Mr. Mohammed Maladho Bah, Special Envoy on Investment (Reappointed) (Pro-bono)

    i. National Youth Advisory Council to the Office of the President MOS

    1. Mr. James Earl Kiawoin, Chairperson

    2. Mdm. Fenny Louise Taylor-Diggs, Co-Chairperson

    3. Ms. Alphia Faith Kemokai, Member

    4. Mr. Akerseh Guannu, Member (Motorcyclist)

    5. The President, Member, representing the Liberia National Students Union (LINSU).

    6. Mr. Daniel N. Nills, Member, representing the Mano River Union Youth Parliament in Liberia.

    7. Ms. Banica Stephanie Elliott, Member, representing the Federation of Liberian Youth

    II. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)

    1. Mr. Charles A. Snetter, Ambassador At-Large (Reappointed)

    2. Mr. Christopher Hages Onanuga, Special Envoy on Tourism (Reappointed) (Pro-bono)

    3. Mr. Emmet Dunn, Special Envoy on Partnerships & Philanthropy (Pro-bono)

    III. National Commission on Arms

    1. Mr. Vahkpanah B. K Wymon, Vice Chairperson

    2. Ms. Vivian D. Dogbey, Commissioner

    IV. Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC)

    1. Sheikh Y. Jalloh, Member of the Board

    V. Maryland Vocational Training Institute (MVTI).

    1. President, William V.S. Tubman University, Chairperson

    2. Director of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Co-Chairperson

    3. Minister of Education, (Ex-officio) Statutory

    4. Senator J. Gbleh-bo Brown Member

    5. Representative Anthony F. Williams, Member

    6. Maryland County Education Officer, Member

    7. Director of Higher Education, Member

    8. Superintendent of Maryland County, Member

    9. Director of MVTI, Secretary to the Board

    These appointments, where applicable, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.

    President Boakai calls on appointed officials of government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to country.
