Bong County- President George Manneh Weah as part of his re-election bid in the October 10, 2023, presidential elections has began his campaign tour in central Liberia.
On Monday, September 11, 2023, the Liberian Leader was received by scores of cidicians, supporters, sympathizers and government officials including his vice running mate in Bong County.
Mr. Weah was first welcomed by the chiefs and elders as tradition demands and was later handed over to the local authorities to be drall with happenings in the county.
The president as part of his first engagement dedicated a newly constructed market structure in Salala.
At his first Town Hall meeting with the people of Bong County District #6, Representatives Moira Briggs Mensah thanked the Liberian Leader for his numerous contributions to the country. She at the sametime pledged her support to President Weah re-election.
