President Weah Commends France on National Day Observance

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – President George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and People of France on the occasion commemorating the Bastille Day, the National Day of France on July 14, 2023.

In a message to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, President Weah extended sincere felicitation on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, to the Government and people of France as they celebrate the historic occasion.

The Liberian leader expressed his sincere gratitude to President Macron’s administration for stepping up cooperation, which resulted in numerous supports for Liberia, ranging from financial help to programs aimed at the upward mobility of the Liberian people, according to a release from the Foreign Ministry.

In addition, President George Manneh Weah hoped for the bilateral collaboration that now exists between the two nations to continue strengthening for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.
