President Weah Congratulates Chad on 62nd Independence Celebration

President George Manneh Weah has congratulated the Government and people of the Republic of Chad on the occasion commemorating the country’s 62nd independence anniversary on August 11, 2022.

In the message to his Chadian counterpart, President Mahamat Idriss Deby,  President George Manneh Weah on behalf of the Government and people of  Liberia, and in his own name, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of the Republic of Chad, as they celebrate this historic day.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Liberian leader also assured his Chadian counterpart that the two governments will work together to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation subsisting between both countries.

Mr. Weah further hoped and prayed that the Almighty God will endow President Mahamat Idriss Deby with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his people to sustainable peace and greater prosperity.
