FOLLOWING DEATH OF SECRETARY OF STATE HENRY KISSINGER

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – The former secretary of state, Henry Kissinger, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the age of one hundred (100). President George Manneh Weah issued a condolence message to his counterpart, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.

In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry of Liberia, President Weah expressed his sincere condolences to President Biden and, via him, to the government and people of the United States of America, especially the bereaved family, for the irreversible loss incurred. This was on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, as well as in his own name.

During this trying time of national morning, the Liberian leader expressed his deepest prayers and condolences to President Biden, the grieving family, and the strong people of the United States of America.
