SENDS MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO PRESIDENT BIDEN

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – President George Manneh Weah has sent a condolence message to Joseph R. Biden, Jr., President of the United States of America, following the death of Mrs. Rosalynn Carter, former First Lady of the United States of America. She died on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the age of ninety-six (96).

In a statement from the Foreign Ministry, President George Manneh Weah expressed his sincere condolences to US President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., the government and people of the United States of America, and the bereaved family in particular, for the irreversible loss incurred. This was on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, as well as in his own name.

The Liberian Leader then prayed and hoped that the Almighty God will grant President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., and the resilient people of the United States of America, faith during this difficult period of national distress and mourning.
