    President Weah Dedicates Skating Rink

    President George Manneh Weah has officially delegated the Skating Annex at the Invincible Sports Park in Sinkor.

    According to the Liberian Leader, the Skating Rink will enable young people who have an interest in Skating in the country to practice. He noted that skating is part of the regular exercise for both youths and young adults in every part of the World.

    Skating according to the Liberian Chief executive is essential as such there is a need for skaters to have a specific area at the Invincible sports park.

    Mr. Weah at the same time cautioned Officials of the Skating federation to manage and maintain the Annex for the improvement of the beautiful sport.

    Also Speaking at the delegatory ceremony, the Minister of state without portfolio Trokon A. Kpui, said the establishment of the annex derived from skaters using the driveway for practice on a daily basis, something he described as unfortunate taking into consideration the risk involved with vehicles entering and leaving the premises of the park.

    Minister Kpui, narrated that he was instructed by the Liberian chief executive, President George Manneh Weah to identify areas around the park for the construction of an annex for skaters.

    The skating Rink at the Invincible Sports Park was constructed by the engineering department of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).
    The engineering Department at the Armed Forces of Liberia has over the years been involved with the Developmental agenda of the country. The AFL, have carried out major construction work across the country including the construction of Bridges, hospital, and Roads among other.
