President Weah Encourages Countrymen not to allow politics drive away the peace Liberia enjoys.

Congo Town, Montserrado – Liberians have been urged by President George Weah not to let politics destroy the current state of peace in the nation. According to President Weah, the nation can advance if there is peace and harmony. He claimed that everyone, even those in the opposition camp, must take a comprehensive strategy to sustain the peace.

The Liberian leader warned citizens to be grateful for God’s many blessings on the nation as he thought back on his life. President Weah made special remarks during the Thanksgiving and Intercessory Service at the Philadelphia Central Church, emphasizing the need for people to mimic the appreciation spirit.

But he took offense at people who want to incite conflict and violence. According to Mr. Weah, his administration will not allow any act of intolerance especially in the election period. He asked all politicians to warn their supporters against violence as peace is the best way.
