Washington DC, USA – The Executive Mansion has reported that Liberia President, George Manneh Weah has arrived in Washing DC, USA to participate in the US-Africa Leaders Forum. It is reported that Mr. Weah will on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, address the second edition of the United States Africa Summit dubbed the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit.

At the National Museum of African American History and Culture, President Weah will give a speech to the young leaders from Africa and the Diaspora. The Liberian President is anticipated to utilize his speech to increase diaspora engagement, boost communication between US authorities and the US’s African population, and give up-and-coming African leaders a stage on which to develop fresh responses to enduring problems.

The Forum’s theme, “Amplifying Voices – Building Partnerships that Last,” also emphasizes higher education, the creative industries, and environmental equity.

In addition, President Weah is anticipated to urge the Diaspora to collaborate with the US, Africa, and African leaders for the sake of the Continent. He will stress the significance of US-Africa relations and urge greater collaboration on common global objectives.

According to the Executive Mansion, Mr. Weah will also call on the US to uphold its steadfast commitment to the African continent. President Joseph R. Biden is expected to preside over this year’s forum.
