President Weah warns CDC supporters of Election violence

Monrovia, Liberia – The carrying of a casket in the name of a campaign by CDCIANS has been strongly condemned by President George Weah. The Liberian leader denounced the carrying of coffins as a provocative conduct that threatens the peaceful nature of democracy.

He quickly issued a call to action, urging CDCIANS and regime supporters to refrain from repeating the aforementioned absurd behaviour at CDC gatherings. In advance of a gospel concert at the Party Headquarters, CDCIANS were spotted on Saturday, August 5, 2023, carrying caskets bearing the picture of opposition Unity Party political leader Amb. Joseph Boakai through the city of Monrovia and beyond.

President Weah added that the foundation of the Party is nothing less than peace and spoke of how serene and peaceful CDC is.
