    President George Manneh Weah has made nominations in government affecting the Judiciary, General Audit Commission, and Internal Auditing Agency.

    According to a press release on Monday, May 16, 2022, President Weah named Cllr. Necular Y. Edwards as Judge of the Monthly and Probate Court (Montserrado County) and Cllr. U-Jay Bright as Judge of Tax Court (Montserrado County).

    Cllrs. Edwards and Bright replace J. Vinton Holder (deceased) and His Honor Mozart Chesson (retirement) respectively.

    The Liberia Leader also named Mr. David Kemah as Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA).

    At the General Auditing Commission (GAC), the Liberian Leader nominated Foday G. Kiazolu, Deputy Auditor General for Administration; Winsley S. Nanka, Deputy Auditor General for Audit Services; and G. Cecil Dole, Deputy Audit General for Special Audits.

    The nominations are subject to confirmation by the Honorable Liberian Senate.
