AS SUPREME COURT WITH HOLD BILL OF INFORMATION FILED BY TEAM JULIUS KANUBAH

Monrovia, Liberia – In the 2022 Press Union of Liberia Elections conducted in Gbarnga, Bong County, Team Julius Kanubah filed a Bill of Information, which the Supreme Court of Liberia withheld. The Court observed that the Bill of Information in this case was false because Chambers Justice Joseph Nagbe erred in declining to grant a Remedial Writ and instead issued an order that affected the ruling of the Lower Court.

In order to stop a judge or other judicial official from trying to carry out the High Court mandate improperly,, that is, to stop anybody from meddling with the Supreme Court’s judgement and mandate, it also restates the fact that a Bill of Information will be used.

In order to reestablish the court’s jurisdiction over the PUL election matter, the High Court has requested that the Clerk issue a mandate to the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Bong County.

It is known that the membership of the Press Union of Liberia participated in an election process last year, in 2022, to select a new executive to oversee the union’s operations going forward. Election proceedings were halted due to allegations of electoral fraud. Team Julius called for a second round of voting since the previous one had been corrupted.
