The Liberia National Handball Association consistently called on humanitarian organizations, philanthropists, and the government of Liberia for support and has started to heed positive results as a sports enthusiast, Prince Walker identified with the institution.

Mr. Walker, the Chief Executive Officer of Prince Walker Group of Companies on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, presented a set of jerseys and practicing bib to the Liberia National Handball Association ahead of the under 18 and under 20 male teams’ participation in the upcoming Africa Zone three handball championship in the Ivory Coast beginning July 3-9, 2022.

Presenting the materials, Mr. Walker said his goal is to support other federations besides football.

He at the same time called on other Liberians to stand tall in helping to brand sports in the country, adding that, the government cannot do it alone and is about time everyone comes together to help transform the country.

“I want to inform you today that Prince Walker Group of Companies is involved in charity and empowering ordinary Liberian besides sports. I’m also making this passionate call to other Liberians in the diaspora to help our sporting federations at this moment, Mr. Walker said”.

The Secretary-General of the Liberia National Handball Association, Hadji Sesay received the donation on behalf of the institution. The LNHA Secretary-General thanks Mr. Walker for identifying with their federation, terming its a great move.

According to Mr. Sesay, since they started making the call, only Prince Walker Group of Companies and the Chief Executive Officer of Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia (SEGAL) Momo T. Cyrus have identified with the Liberia National Handball Association.

“Right now, our two teams don’t even have jerseys and practicing bibs besides what Mr. Walker has given us before I talk about passports issues. We have written Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding the passport issues but till now nothing seen to be happening. I want to take this time on behalf of the Liberia National Handball Association to once again appreciate Mr. Walker for the donation. What you have given to us is very huge, and as such, we appreciate it and we look forward to sitting with you to discuss how we can move this sport forward, the LNHA SG concludes”.
