British Royal Family Thursday announced that Queen Elizabeth has been put under medical supervision at Balmoral Hospital after doctors expressed concerns about her health.
“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s Doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remains under medical supervision,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
The statement added that the 96-year-old monarch “remains comfortable”, and that Prince Charles and Camilla have arrived at Balmoral while Prince William is traveling there.
Prince Andrew and Prince Edward are on their way, while Princess Anne is already in Scotland. New British Prime Minister Liz Truss is quoted as saying that “the whole country will be deeply concerned by the news”
