The Red Bull Salzburg FC under 17 scored Liberia’s under 17 men’s soccer team by 6 goals to nil on Friday in an international friendly.
Coach Asumana Keita’s boys had a decent 2-0 victory against Austria Wien FC under 18 on Thursday which sent a great signal of a weeklong tour of Austria, but things got bitter in less than 24 hours of their victory.
Liberia will now focus on their next opponent First Vienna FC on 26 June at Home Warte to recover from their embarrassing 6-0 defeat on Friday.
Coach Keita and the team will conclude their preparations against Rapid Wien under-18 at 16:00GMT at the Allianz Stadion in Vienna on 28 June.
The friendlies are part of Liberia’s men under 17 preparations ahead of July’s West African Football Union (WAFU Zone ‘A’) men’s under-17 Nations Cup qualifiers in Cape Verde.
