Rep. Kolubah Threatens President-elect Boakai If……

GIVES AMB. BOAKAI SEVEN DAYS TO EXPLAIN FINANCIAL STRENGTH

Monrovia, Liberia- Montserrado County District 10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah has given President-elect Joseph Nyuma Boakai 7-days ultimatum to explain the source of the $10 million Liberian dollars and the 200 bags of 25 kg rice donated to exploded gas tanker victims in Totota Lower Bong County.

Addressing a news conference on Sunday , January 7, 2024 at his Old Road residence, Representative Kolubah questioned Ambassador Boakai source of such huge cash after the former Vice President told Liberians that he lives on loan.

Representative Kolubah at the same time has accused President-elect of violating Sections 1.3.2 and 1.3 Part Six of the National Code of Conduct, when he provided such funds to fire victims in Bong County.

Kolubah statement comes amidst president-elect Boakai recent humanitarian donation to tanker explosion victims, stressing that the source of the fund is potentially linked to political favoritism and corruption; adding that it is too early for Amb. Boakai to get involve into illegal act.

He cautioned the Unity Party Leadership to provide a comprehensive report detailing the source of the funding aimed at preserving public trust and confidence in his leadership.

Representative Kolubah also made a bold prediction, stating that the incoming Unity Party regime will be more corrupt than the outgoing Coalition for Democratic Change Administration. He at the same time vow to remain critical on the UP Administration.
