Rep. Kolubah Threatens Protest against GoL

LAUNCHES MOVEMENT AGAINST BOAKAI’S PRESIDENCY

Monrovia, Liberia – A movement titled “Movement against Boakai’s Presidency” was launched over the weekend by Representative Yekeh Kolubah, a lawmaker from Montserrado District #10.

He claimed that the Unity Party government was more corrupt than the Coalition for Democratic Change, which is why he believed that citizens should take action.

The legislator for Montserrado County District #10 cited poor governance, rule of law violations, and corruption as the causes of the movement’s founding and the upcoming demonstration.

Representative Kolubah, however attack President Boikai and his UP government for allegedly taking four million US dollars from the head of ArcelorMittal when he visited Liberia for executive projects.

He claimed that the third party negotiating the agreement on President Boakai’s behalf is Walter McCarthy. He claimed that in order to complete the contract, President Boakai, along with his son, and McCarthy, held the meeting with the CEO of ArcelorMittal.

Rep. Kolubah also alleged that McCarthy is connected with all concession areas representing the Liberia leader in all his shady deals. The representative added that the movement will check mate the UP government.
