Monrovia, Liberia – Sethi Brothers Group of Companies at the weekend donated three million eight hundred and eighty thousand Liberian dollars, or US$20,000 each, to four impacted towns in Montserrado County Electoral District #13, as part of its social corporate duty.
In order to satisfy the company’s SCR, US$5,000 was given to Central Jamaica Road, Sawmill, Bassa Town, and Bilama Communities all of the affected districts.
The company stated that its operations in the district have an impact on the four communities. It also advised the beneficiaries to use the funds for the appropriate purposes and pledged to continue supporting the affected zones.
Representative Edward Flomo expressed his satisfaction with the intervention made by the Sethi Brothers group of firms shortly after the checks were given to the community chairpersons.
The legislator declared that in order to look out for the interests of and support the communities in where the other enterprises are operating, his office will continue to work with them.
The impacted communities’ spokesperson, Prince Wilson, expressed gratitude to Sethi Brothers Group of Companies for keeping their word in a succinct statement.
