Monrovia, Liberia – Miatta Morris, a winger for Shaita Angels FC, is using her on-field achievements as a platform for the next generation in a stirring demonstration of sportsmanship and sisterhood.
Morris has set out to raise Liberia’s most promising young people with her recently established program, the MM22 Family, starting with a sincere mentoring of Mariama Caicedo Bah, an outstanding player of Bushrod Queens.
Morris, a well-known figure in the Liberian Women’s Division, recognized Bah as one of the league’s most promising young forwards.
Morris’s outreach went far beyond a casual observation and included a formal visit to offer the emerging star practical resources as well as motivational assistance.
“I 100% believe in your game,” Morris told Bah during the presentation. “You truly deserve this from MM22. Just believe in yourself and keep pushing.”
The gathering served as a link between Liberian women’s football’s present and the future.
