Sierra Leone Vice President Pays Solidarity visit to President Boakai

Monrovia, Liberia – Vice President Mohammed Jalloh of Sierra Leone has met with President Joseph Boakai, but the media was not given access to the details of their discussions behind closed doors.

However, in a quick interview with the media, Vice President Jalloh characterized the meeting as a show of support and a follow-up conversation with the president of Liberia.

Both governments may be aiming to fortify their decades-long bilateral ties in the midst of Liberia’s most recent change.

After President Bio visited President Boakai about a week ago, Vice President Jalloh is the second high-ranking official from neighboring Sierra Leone to visit President Boakai.
