Days after the Student Unification Party (SUP) stage a bloody protest against the George Weah Led-government on July 26, the campus-based political party announced another protest against the CDC government.
According to the student unification Party Chairman Mustapha Kanneh, the protest is scheduled for flag day August 24, 2022, at the United States Embassy near Monrovia. SUP, vow to resist any sponsored counter-protesters during their peaceful planned protest at the US, Embassy. Kanneh expressed that the protest would continue until president George Weah transformed the country.
The student unification Party has with immediate effect rejected the offer given by president George Weah instructing the Ministry of Health to ensure that all who sustained injuries during the violent attack around the United States Embassy near Monrovia be given the best medication at the expense of the Coalition for Democratic Change ( CDC) led government.
According to Chairman Mustapha, the counter-protest was intentionally sponsored by the Liberia government. It can be recorded that some members of the CDC- Council of Patriots attacked and injured peaceful protesting students from the state-run University of Liberia.
The student unification Party Chairman Mustapha Kanneh made the pronouncement Friday, August 5, 2022, at the University of Liberia main campus in Monrovia during a dollars rally campaign organized by officials of SUP gear towards the payment of medical bills for injured students.
