Three Liberians Feature in 2022 World Cup

Born on November 2, 2000, in Buduburam Camp, Ghana, Alphonso Boyle Davies later immigrated to Canada as a refugee. He is a professional soccer player for the Canadian national team and Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, where he plays as a left defender or winger. Due to his speed, dribbling, and creativity, he is considered one of the best full-backs in the world.
