Two arrested for Fake Identity

Monrovia, Liberia – Two people have been detained, investigated, and charged by the Liberia National Police’s (LNP) Anti-Robbery Unit. On February 15, 2026, the suspects were captured near Barnersville Junction while posing as members of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) and wearing complete military camouflage uniforms.

Police reports states that the perpetrators, Suspects Shadrach Dingwall and Philip W. D.B. Randy stole Frank Roberts’ Bajaj motorcycle after unlawfully pepper-spraying the victim. 

Investigations also showed that the perpetrators had allegedly been posing as military officers and intimidating peaceful locals in different communities.

Robbery, property theft, impersonation of an official, and criminal conspiracy are the charges against the defendants. In accordance with Liberian law, they have been sent to court for prosecution.
