Unity Party USA, Canada Women Congress pledges unwavering support to Liberty Party Political Leader Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence and assured their continuous support to women candidates and political actors despite the lingering dispute.
According to the group, its decision to pledge support to Senator Lawrence is based upon her courageous fights and strives to safeguard women’s participation in political leadership.
The Unity Party USA and Canada Women Congress in a press statement on Monday, December 27, 2021, said, it also supports women candidates and political actors who actively encourage the concept of women making up more than half of the country’s population, including the need to elect them into public offices.
The Diaspora women asserted that they are cognizant of the increasing and alarming attacks against Senator Lawrence, nothing that the growing issues originating from women have the propensity to undermine the progress made towards female political participation.
